dTunes 2.1 & 2.2 have generated over 97,000 downloads and counting!
So no chance for Richard to stop surprising us with some nice additional features in dTunes new version 2.3. Thx to Richard for providing iPhone-game,de with a pre-release of the new version 2.3!
The following functions have been implemented and will be released within the next 24 hours.

dTunes finally made a big step ahead from a rapid-prototype to a really professional iPhone/iTouch application. The usability matches the iPhone feeling. We are sure you will love it!

So watch-out for installation / update in Cydia.

- Keeps playing music after pressing home button
- Ability to add Folders & Sub-Folders
- Renaming of Files & Folders (double tap while in edit mode)
- Drag & Drop Files & Folders to move items (while in edit)
- Drag & Drop Files & Folders to delete (while in edit)
- Artwork Support

Note: This is a work around for people that would like to see artwork images while in the player.
(drop an image named “cover.png” in the appropriate directory (the screen size is 320×320 and images will be scaled to this size).

Installation Issues: For users having problems with Safari after installing dTunes. This is related to the Safari Plugin 2.0. Simply download Boss Prefs from Cydia (along with the Safari Plugin add-on) and then you can turn OFF the Safari download. This will have to be turned back on when using dTunes.

iPhone-game.de hat mal wieder die Nase ganz weit vorne, da wir in sehr engem Kontakt zum dTunes-Entwickler stehen.
Die Vorgängerversionen dTunes 2.1 und dTunes 2.2 wurden nun schon über 97.000 mal heruntergeladen!
Nach diesem unglaublichen Erfolg gibt es im Laufe der nächsten 24 Stunden eine neue Version dTunes 2.3 mit weiteren Verbesserungen. Installation/Update wie gewohnt über Cydia. Also Augen offen halten, es lohnt sich mal wieder! Besten Dank an Richard für die Bereitstellung einer Vorabversion für iPhone-game.de!
Eins muß man eindeutig sagen, dTunes hat den Wandel eines “Rapid-Prototype” hin zu einem hochprofessionellen App innerhalb kürzester Zeit geschafft. Hier können sich etliche iPhone-Programme eine gehörige Scheibe abschneiden. Das Programm ist intuitiv bedienbar und fügt sich wirklich nahtlos in die erstklassige Bedienung des iPhones/iTouch ein. Und was war nochmal das Besondere an dTunes? Ach ja, kostenlos mit dem iPhone über das Internet MP3s downloaden und lokal abspielen zu können. Das kann die neue Version 2.3 natürlich immer noch!

- Musik wird nun auch im Hintergrund weiter abgespielt wenn ihr den Player via “Home” Button verlasst
- Unterstützung von Ordnern und Unterordnern
- Umbenennung von Dateien und Ordnern
- Drag & Drop Sortierung von Ordnern und Dateien
- Drag & Drop im “edit” Modus um Dateien oder Ordner zu löschen
- Cover-Artwork-Files für den Playerhintergrund in Verzeichnissen (müssen manuell via scp in den entsprechenden Ordner kopiert werden und “cover.png” heissen/Größe wird auf 320×320 gerendert
